Plains Leopard Frog (Lithobates blairi) is a relatively large (11 cm) frog that is widespread across the Great Plains from Kentucky west to Arizona and South Dakota south to Texas. It is found in aquatic habitat types in prairies and desert grasslands. Individuals have been observed to move up to 8 km between ponds from one year to the next.
