Green Rat Snake (Senticolis triaspis) is a large (1.6 m total length), wide-ranging snake that is distributed from Costa Rica to just north of the U.S.-Mexico border in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. They inhabit montane woodlands and chaparral. They eat mostly rodents, but will also eat other small mammals, lizards, and birds.
