
Arizona Black Rattlesnake (Crotalus cerberus) is a medium-sized (1.22 m total length) rattlesnake that occurs in the mountains and foothills of central Arizona and west-central New Mexico. They inhabit oak, pine-oak, and mixed conifer habitats. They are a highly social species and hibernate, gestate, and give birth in groups.
