Giant Spotted Whiptail (Aspidoscelis stictogramma) is a large (up to 45 cm total length) whiptail lizard that ranges from southeastern Arizona and southwestern New Mexico into northwestern Mexico. They live in desert scrub, semi-desert grassland, and oak savanna and woodland. It often is found in dense shrubby areas along arroyos or near streams.
