Texas Liptooth Snail (Linisa texasiana) is a terrestrial snail that is widespread in the south-central United States, but in New Mexico only occurs in Bitter Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. They have also been introduced to the urban areas of Artesia and Carlsbad, New Mexico. They are most often found in low-lying, damp, seepage areas along and near the Pecos River floodplain.
