Fringed Mountainsnail (Radiocentrum ferrissi) is a medium-sized? (up to alt. 7.8, diam. 15 mm, with 5 whorls) terrestrial snail that has been taken alive at only two locations in the southern Big Hatchet Mountains in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. Fossils of this species have also been found in the Big Hatchet Mountains and Howells Ridge in the Little Hatchet Mountains. They live under stones on the ledges of high cliffs opposite of the mouth of Sheridan Canyon.
