Koster's Springsnail (Juturnia kosteri) is a small (shell length up to 4.5 mm) thermal spring snail that is only found at the Roswell Country Club and Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Chaves County, New Mexico. They live on mud, organic debris, and pebbles in slow-to-moderate velocity water in gypsum springs and streams. They live 9-15 months and reproduce several times between spring and fall.
