Bigscale Logperch (Percina macrolepida) is a small (9 cm) fish that is native to the Sabine River (Louisiana), Red River (Oklahoma and Arkansas), and the Rio Grande drainage (Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico). They have also been introduced in northeastern New Mexico. They inhabit runs and pools of small to medium rivers and can tolerate turbidity and a variety of flow levels; found in some reservoirs.
