Pecos Pupfish (Cyprinodon pecosensis) is a small fish (5 cm long) endemic to the Pecos River drainage in New Mexico and Texas, currently found primarily in saline springs and gypsum sinkholes on Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Bottomless Lakes State Park. They feed primarily on aquatic invertebrates and detritus.
