
Moore's Fairy Shrimp (Streptocephalus moorei) is a large (11-16 mm) freshwater branchiopod that is only known from three pools in southern New Mexico, U.S. and another locality in northern Chihuahua, Mexico. They inhabit temporary ponds, pools, and man-made water catchments but are absent from running water.
