Bell's Vireo (Vireo bellii) is a small (11-12 cm), nondescript songbird that occurs across arid regions of the Great Plains and borderlands regions. They inhabit dense, brushy vegetation, often near water. They build well-camouflaged nests from which they are reluctant to flush during incubation.
