Thick-billed Kingbird (Tyrannus crassirostris) is a large (24 cm) songbird that ranges from southern New Mexico and Arizona down through western Mexico. They inhabit arid scrub, savanna, and woodlands near water. They nest high above the ground and in riparian woodlands. Their nests are frail cups of twigs and grasses.
