Flammulated Owl (Psiloscops flammeolus) is a small (15-17 cm), secretive owl that ranges from Guatemala to British Columbia with highly disjunct populations. It breeds in open pine forests in mountainous areas. Their diet mainly consists of insects, though they do eat small vertebrates as well.
