Chiricahua Leopard Frog (Lithobates chiricahuensis) is a leopard frog large (about 14 cm long) that lives in permanent or semi-permanent water in montane habitats and scrub desert. They are found in southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, and patchily through the eastern slope of the Sierra Madre Occidental in Sonora and Chihuahua, Mexico. They are threatened by the loss of habitat, Bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) predation, and disease.
