Brown-capped Rosy-Finch (Leucosticte australis) is a small (14-16 cm) songbird that lives above the timberline in the mountains of southeastern Wyoming, Colorado, and north-central New Mexico. They use barren, rocky and grassy areas and cliffs. They can be seen foraging for seeds on the ground.
