Yellow-eyed Junco (Junco phaeonotus) is a small (16 cm), montane songbird found primarily in Mexico. They are also found in the southeastern corner of Arizona and the Animas Mountains of New Mexico. They feed on seeds and insects in open coniferous and pine-oak forests.
