Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is one of the largest (71-97 cm) birds in North America with a wingspan of over 2 m. They are distributed throughout Canada and the U.S. and northern Mexico. Bald Eagles are primarily found near water such as lakes, reservoirs, rivers, and wetlands, but can sometimes be found in wooded habitats.
