Pinyon Jay (Gymnorhinus cyanocephalus) is a large (26-29 cm) songbird of the western U.S. They live in pinyon-juniper woodland habitat, as well as sagebrush, scrub oak, and sometimes pine forests. They eat pinyon and other pine seeds, acorns, berries, and insects.
